Key Features

Stunning Flamed Maple Top

The standout feature of the GB24JJ is its Flamed Maple top, which provides a classy, premium aesthetic rarely found on instruments in this price range. This top is paired with a Poplar body, a tonewood known for being sonic similar to Alder. It delivers a full-bodied resonance and a “meaty” tone that forms a solid foundation for your sound.

Versatile Powersound JJ Pickups

To capture the full range of the body’s resonance, the bass is equipped with a Cort® Powersound JJ Style Pickup Set.

• Neck Pickup: Provides a silky smooth, natural tone ideal for warm rhythm playing.

• Bridge Pickup: Adds clarity, articulation, and a singing character to your lines.

• Control: With the 2-Volume, 1-Tone configuration, you can blend these pickups to dial in a wide variety of useful sounds suitable for virtually any musical style.

Comfortable Playability

The GB24JJ features a Hard Maple neck paired with a Jatoba fingerboard. The neck profile boasts a narrow 38mm (1 1/2″) nut width, typical of “Jazz-style” basses, which makes for fast navigation and comfortable chording. The 9.45″ fingerboard radius ensures a classic feel that is easy on the hands during long sets.

Reliable Hardware

Built for stability, the bass includes Open Gear Tuners and a Vintage Bridge. These components ensure accurate tuning stability and sustain, allowing you to focus entirely on your performance.
