The Ibanez GA2-OAM is a three-quarter-size classical guitar made for players who prefer a smaller body and shorter reach. Its Open Pore Amber finish gives it a natural, uncomplicated appearance that works well for early lessons and everyday practice.
Construction and playing comfort
A spruce top joins meranti back and sides in a traditional nylon-string design. The Nandu wood fingerboard and bridge complete a simple instrument that encourages clear notes and careful right-hand technique.
Classical size and comfortable fretting
The shorter 580 mm scale, 46 mm nut and 18 frets are the main reasons to consider the GA2 instead of a full-sized classical guitar. Children and smaller players may find the proportions easier, but the ideal size still depends on reach and posture.
Finish and choosing the right setup
The guitar is intended for nylon strings and traditional classical playing, not steel-string tension. If you are choosing for a student, ask their teacher to confirm the size. Barbad can advise on accessories and UAE ordering arrangements.
