Ibanez Q52FMG-DRL Electric Guitar

The Ibanez Q52FMG-DRL is a headless solidbody electric guitar that combines compact dimensions with a full 25.5-inch scale and a surprisingly flexible pickup system. Its Deep Twilight Burst Low Gloss finish shows off a flamed-maple top, while the ergonomic body and headless hardware make it a distinctive alternative to a conventional double-cutaway guitar. It suits players who value comfortable stage movement, precise fretting and a broad palette of modern electric tones.

Flamed maple, ash and a compact headless body

A flamed maple top sits on an ash body, creating a detailed wood-grain appearance beneath the low-gloss finish. The Q-series design removes the traditional headstock but retains standard guitar scale length and fretting positions. Carefully shaped contours are intended to make the instrument comfortable when standing or sitting. The low-profile body is especially appealing to players who want a compact instrument without switching to a shorter scale.

Roasted Wizard C neck and stainless-steel frets

The Wizard C neck uses a three-piece roasted maple and bubinga construction with a balanced profile that is neither excessively thin nor bulky. Its roasted birdseye maple fingerboard has 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets and offset mother-of-pearl inlays. Stainless steel resists wear and corrosion, while the wide fret surface supports articulate bends and smooth lead playing. Luminescent side dots help players navigate the fretboard in darker performance spaces.

Q58 pickups and ten switching combinations

Two Ibanez Q58 humbuckers are designed to deliver clear notes across the frequency range without losing definition in fuller chords. The dyna-MIX10 system and Alter Switch offer ten combinations, including Power Tap and brighter single-coil-style textures. This makes the guitar flexible for clean rhythms, complex chords, ambient effects and more aggressive distorted parts. The switching options are worth experimenting with through your own amplifier or modeller to hear their practical differences.

Mono-Tune bridges and straightforward string changes

Individual Mono-Tune bridges provide adjustable intonation and string height for each string. A custom headless string lock is designed to accept ordinary guitar strings, so proprietary double-ball-end strings are not required. With its fixed bridge configuration, the Q52FMG is a sensible option for players who frequently move between practical tunings or prefer not to maintain a floating tremolo. Ibanez lists a gig bag as included; confirm the exact package and UAE delivery arrangements with Barbad before ordering.
