Ernst Krause KC123 Polished Dark Walnut Upright Piano

The Ernst Krause KC123 Polished Dark Walnut Upright Piano combines a full acoustic piano playing experience with a distinctive polished dark walnut cabinet. Its traditional upright format keeps the instrument practical for home playing, lessons and music rooms.

Acoustic design and room fit

The KC123 offers an upright acoustic-piano format with a slightly taller cabinet than the KC121. Its published dimensions are approximately 123 cm in height, 152 cm in width and 62 cm in depth. This makes it practical for spaces that need a full acoustic keyboard without the floor area of a grand piano. Check doorway and delivery clearances before ordering.

Keyboard, touch and musical expression

A full 88-key keyboard, European-spruce soundboard and acoustic hammer mechanism give the player the familiar dynamic response required for technique, phrasing and musical development. The piano is suitable for a broad range of study and performance music, from solo pieces to accompaniment. Actual tone and playing feel depend on the individual instrument’s condition and preparation.

Polished Dark Walnut cabinet and appearance

The dark walnut polished cabinet offers a deeper wood-toned appearance than mahogany or white variants. It can work beautifully in libraries, formal interiors and rooms with warm, muted colours. The finish should be understood as the cabinet’s colour and appearance, not a statement that the entire case is built from solid walnut.

Because darker gloss finishes make fingerprints, dust and reflections more obvious, keep cleaning gentle and avoid abrasive products. Consider the piano’s final position in relation to windows and strong lights so the polished surface remains comfortable to live with.

Delivery, tuning and long-term care

Protect the piano from direct sunlight, air-conditioning drafts and large humidity changes. Upright pianos require periodic tuning and may need regulation as parts settle and wear. Because a piano is heavy and sensitive to handling, use an experienced piano-moving team and confirm the exact delivery route before scheduling installation.

Barbad’s listing specifies a piano bench. Please confirm the exact bench and accessories, as well as transport access and preparation details, before ordering. Our team can help discuss piano tuning and instrument care in the UAE.
