The Kawai K-200 is an acoustic upright piano created for students, teachers and experienced players who want an instrument with a responsive action and a compact traditional cabinet. This polished ebony version brings a clean, classic appearance to a dedicated music space.
Millennium III upright piano action
Kawai’s Millennium III action uses ABS-Carbon components, with double-felted hammers on mahogany cores. The mechanism is designed for consistent response, giving players the control needed for everyday practice and more detailed musical phrasing.
Spruce soundboard and acoustic character
A tapered spruce soundboard works with the piano’s strings and hammers to produce a naturally resonant acoustic voice. Unlike a digital piano, the K-200 responds through its physical soundboard and requires periodic tuning and suitable environmental care.
Dimensions and planning for delivery
The K-200 measures approximately 114 cm high, 149 cm wide and 57 cm deep and weighs around 208 kg. Consider doorway access and placement before arranging professional delivery. Contact Barbad to discuss current availability and practical ownership questions in the UAE.
