Cort Earth GO OPBB Acoustic Guitar with Case

The Cort Earth GO OPBB combines a compact acoustic guitar with modern HyVibe H2 electronics. Its three-quarter-size dreadnought body and shorter 22.8-inch scale make it easier to carry and comfortable for players who find a full-size acoustic cumbersome. A solid Sitka spruce soundboard and mahogany back and sides provide a traditional acoustic foundation, while the built-in system gives you more ways to practise and create music.

Compact size, real acoustic response

The Earth GO uses a solid Sitka spruce top with Cort’s advanced X-bracing and a dovetail neck joint. Its 3/4 dreadnought shape offers a useful balance between a portable body and familiar steel-string acoustic response. The shorter scale reduces the distance between frets compared with a conventional full-length dreadnought, which can be helpful for travel, relaxed practice and players with smaller hands. It remains a six-string acoustic guitar rather than a child-sized toy.

HyVibe H2 electronics for creative practice

Cort equips the Earth GO with the HyVibe H2 system, making it more than a basic acoustic guitar. This integrated platform supports practice-oriented functions and onboard sound processing; check the current HyVibe documentation for exact firmware features and setup. The advantage for players is having additional musical tools built into the instrument rather than carrying a separate multi-effects pedal or practice device everywhere.

Neck, finish and included protection

The guitar has a mahogany C-shaped neck, a laurel fingerboard and bridge, and 19 frets. Its open-pore brown-burst finish gives the spruce-and-mahogany build a natural appearance without the look of a heavy gloss coating. Cort specifies a gig bag with this model, which is useful when carrying the guitar to lessons or rehearsals. As with all acoustic instruments, avoid extreme heat and humidity changes, especially during travel.

Is the Earth GO right for you?

Consider the Earth GO if you want a portable but serious steel-string acoustic guitar with an integrated practice system. It suits students, travellers and songwriters who value convenience. If you prefer a fuller-sized dreadnought feel or need a traditional acoustic with no built-in electronics, compare it with Cort’s standard Earth models.
