Special 20 five-pack: key selection and construction

This bundle contains five diatonic harmonicas in C, D, E, G and A; it is not a single chromatic harmonica. Each Special 20 is a ten-hole instrument built with twenty brass reeds, recessed brass reed plates and a durable ABS comb. Recessed plates create a smooth mouthpiece contact surface that can be comfortable for extended practice.

Choosing the correct harmonica keys

Different song arrangements and band keys call for different harmonica keys. Check which five keys are supplied in this exact M5605XP pack before ordering and compare it against single-key harmonicas if you only need one key. See the official Hohner Special 20 specifications. Confirm current partner availability with Barbad Dubai.

Compare Special 20 five-pack with Rocket ProPack

This Special 20 M5605XP bundle covers C, D, E, G and A. The alternative Hohner Rocket ProPack M2013XP has a smaller C, G and A selection. Both use separate fixed-key diatonic harmonicas, rather than one chromatic instrument. Compare your repertoire’s key requirements and mouthpiece preferences before choosing.

Special 20 or Marine Band 1896: same keys, different feel

The Special 20 M5605XP five-pack and the Marine Band 1896 five-pack both cover C, D, E, G and A. The Special 20 has a resilient ABS comb and recessed reed plates, while the Marine Band 1896 uses a double-lacquered pearwood comb and traditional nailed construction. Both are ten-hole diatonic instruments; compare mouthpiece feel and maintenance preferences instead of treating them as different-key bundles.
