The Ibanez AZES40-MGR in Mint Green is an approachable, full-featured electric guitar for players developing their sound. It combines practical proportions with a versatile pickup arrangement that moves easily between clear rhythm tones and stronger lead sounds.
Body and acoustic character
The 25-inch scale and 22 medium frets make the AZES40 comfortable for lessons, practising chords and exploring solos. A maple neck, poplar body and jatoba fingerboard give the instrument a straightforward, balanced layout.
Neck, pickups and playing feel
Two Ibanez Essentials single-coil pickups and an Accord humbucker create an HSS configuration. Five-way pickup switching is extended by Ibanez’s dyna-MIX9 system and Alter Switch for additional tonal combinations from one guitar.
Performance, finish and buying advice
A T106 tremolo bridge allows gentle expressive pitch movement, while the Mint Green finish adds a distinctive look. If you are choosing a first serious electric guitar or a flexible second instrument, Barbad can help compare the AZES40 with other models in the UAE.
