PRS SE SASY Santana Signature Electric Guitar Santana Yellow Finish

The PRS SE Santana in Santana Yellow celebrates Carlos Santana’s long relationship with PRS guitars through a distinctive body silhouette and a warm, sustaining electric sound. Its 24-fret neck, Santana “S” pickups and PRS tremolo make it appealing to players who favour expressive melody lines and smooth rhythmic phrasing. The bright yellow finish gives the guitar a recognisable signature-model appearance.

A signature design with comfortable proportions

The SE Santana uses a mahogany body with a beveled maple top and flame maple veneer. Its compact Santana body silhouette balances comfortably for seated or standing playing, while the 24.594-inch scale creates a slightly shorter string feel than a conventional 25.5-inch guitar. The result can make bends feel more fluid for some players when the setup and string gauge are suitable.

24 frets and classic neck features

A mahogany neck with a Wide Fat-style profile joins a rosewood fingerboard with PRS bird position inlays. The 24-fret arrangement gives access to two full octaves on each string. Players moving from slim, shred-oriented necks may notice the fuller neck profile, so it is worth considering what shape feels most natural for long practice sessions and chord work.

Santana “S” humbuckers for expressive tone

Two Santana “S” humbuckers provide a clear, sustaining response for lead playing and rounded chord accompaniment. A three-way pickup selector and conventional guitar controls make it easy to compare bridge and neck positions. Some production years include a push/pull tone function, so the exact control specification of the instrument being sold should be checked against its year. The pickups work with clean or driven amplifiers, but much of a Santana-inspired lead sound also comes from phrasing and dynamic control.

PRS tremolo and performance setup

The patented molded PRS tremolo allows vibrato and gentle pitch expression as part of a performance. Compared with a fixed bridge, it benefits from a well-adjusted spring balance and appropriate string tension. Players who prefer stable alternate tunings should discuss setup requirements before purchasing. PRS-designed tuners and nickel hardware complete the signature-style specification.

Who should choose the SE Santana?

This guitar suits melodic rock, blues and fusion players who like PRS comfort and the expressive possibilities of a tremolo-equipped signature model. Barbad Musical Instruments can help compare pickup configurations, setup options and accessories for UAE customers.
