The Opalburst is a Canadian-made, limited-edition Multiac nylon-string guitar created with the band Opal Ocean. It combines a hollowed silver-leaf-maple body with a solid cedar top and figured-maple veneer. Opalburst or Oceanburst: the important difference
Both limited editions use the cedar-and-maple top and custom LR Baggs electronics. The Opalburst has a maple fingerboard; the Godin Multiac Nylon Oceanburst Ltd has a Richlite fingerboard. Godin specifies a custom-voiced LR Baggs system combining six individual saddle transducers with a blendable Lyric microphone, along with adjustable tape-saturation simulation and phase control.
