The Cort Modern Black TBK is a premium modern-concert electro-acoustic guitar with a Trans Black finish and a solid European spruce top. Its solid mahogany back and sides, carefully voiced X-bracing and ergonomic neck are intended to combine detailed acoustic response with a comfortable playing feel. Dual side sound ports and an armrest bevel distinguish the body design.
Solid-wood construction
The master-grade solid European spruce soundboard is paired with solid mahogany back and sides. Hand-scalloped X-bracing supports the top, while the neck uses walnut-reinforced mahogany with an Ergo-A profile and a satin finish. The ebony fingerboard has 20 frets and decorative wood block inlays.
Electronics and fittings
The Fishman Matrix Infinity VT pickup system makes the guitar suitable for amplification. An ebony bridge, Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut and saddle, and Gotoh SGL510Z gold tuning machines complete the hardware. The 648 mm scale and 44.5 mm nut width provide a familiar full-scale acoustic setup with room for fingerstyle playing.
