Ibanez V50NJP-OVS Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

The Ibanez V50NJP-OVS is a full-size steel-string acoustic guitar from the Jampack family, developed for players looking for an approachable way to begin learning. Its dreadnought body is a traditional choice for strumming and accompaniment, while the Open Pore Vintage Sunburst finish gives it a classic appearance. A gig bag is included, making it easier to carry the guitar to lessons and rehearsals.

Dreadnought body for chords and rhythm

A dreadnought guitar provides a familiar acoustic feel and enough body size to support fuller chord strumming. The V50NJP uses a spruce top with meranti back and sides, offering a practical mix of clarity and warmth for everyday playing. It is suitable for learning chord progressions, basic fingerpicking and rhythmic accompaniment. New players should know that full-size steel-string guitars can feel larger and have more string tension than nylon-string classical models.

Neck and straightforward hardware

The meranti neck joins a Nandu wood fingerboard with 20 frets and simple position markers. A 25.5-inch scale gives it a conventional full-length acoustic feel, so the fret spacing is appropriate for standard beginner learning materials. Chrome-covered tuners and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins provide practical hardware for everyday maintenance and string changes.

Open Pore Vintage Sunburst finish

The V50NJP-OVS has an Open Pore Vintage Sunburst finish that highlights the visual character of a traditional acoustic guitar without relying on a heavy gloss appearance. The factory guitar uses standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning and a conventional steel-string set. If you are beginning lessons, regular tuning and replacing worn strings are among the simplest ways to keep the instrument comfortable and enjoyable to play.

Accessories and buying guidance

Ibanez lists a gig bag with the V50NJP package. Check the particular Barbad product offer for any additional learning accessories rather than assuming that a tuner, strap or picks are included. This is a sensible option for a first guitar when you want a full-size acoustic sound and don’t need built-in amplifier electronics. Barbad Musical Instruments can help you choose beginner accessories and arrange delivery in the UAE.
