Ibanez V44CE-WK – Acoustic Guitar

The Ibanez V44CE-WK is a cutaway dreadnought electro-acoustic guitar finished in Weathered Black Open Pore. It is designed for players who want a full-size acoustic instrument that can also be connected to an amplifier, mixer or recording interface. The cutaway provides easier access to upper-fret positions than on a traditional non-cutaway dreadnought.

Acoustic construction

Meranti is used for the top, back, sides and V-profile neck. A Nandu Wood fingerboard and bridge, white dot inlays and chrome covered tuning machines complete the construction. The guitar has a 650 mm scale, 20 frets and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins.

Plug-in performance

The built-in Ibanez undersaddle pickup connects to an AEQ-2T preamp with an onboard tuner. This makes it possible to adjust the amplified acoustic signal and tune without needing a separate clip-on tuner. A standard quarter-inch output connects to suitable amplification equipment, and the electronics use a 9V battery.
