The Laney DB-EAST-PRE is a Nathan East signature bass preamplifier from the DIGBETH family. It combines independent FET and tube-inspired channels, which can be mixed for a wide range of bass tones, in a compact floor unit.
Tone controls cover bass, low-middle, high-middle and treble, alongside tilt control. The unit supports two remotely switchable inputs, a balanced XLR DI, effects loop, tuner output and USB-C audio. Laney also offers cabinet impulse-response control using its LA·IR application. A regulated 9–12 V centre-negative power supply is required and not included.
