The MXR Bass Synth, supplied under the MB301G1 retailer code, is a synthesizer effects pedal for electric bass. It adds monophonic synth-style tones with sub-octave content, filter movement and modulation.
The pedal provides Mix, Sub Mix, Cutoff, Resonance, Envelope and Mod controls, plus waveform selection between triangle, sawtooth and square. Eight presets are available. It requires a regulated 9 V centre-negative supply capable of 330 mA and cannot be operated on a battery.
