The Ibanez GRGM21M-MPL is a miKro six-string electric guitar with a shorter 22.2-inch scale and Metallic Purple finish. Its compact format reduces the distance between frets compared with standard full-scale electric guitars, making it worth considering for younger players or anyone who prefers a smaller reach without changing to a different instrument type.
Compact construction
The GRGM maple neck is paired with a poplar body and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Despite its reduced overall scale, the guitar has 24 medium frets and the familiar six-string E-standard layout. The fixed F106 bridge and chrome hardware provide a straightforward setup for home practice and lessons.
Pickup configuration
Two passive Infinity R ceramic humbuckers sit at the neck and bridge. Their dual-pickup arrangement supports a range of electric-guitar tones, from smoother neck-position sounds to a more defined bridge attack.
