All-solid construction in a comfortable OM body
The Gold-OC6 combines a compact outline with a 43 mm nut. Its Venetian cutaway opens access to the upper frets, while hand-finished fret edges smooth the transition along the fingerboard.
What makes the Gold construction different?
Cort heat-treats the solid Sitka spruce top using its Aged To Vintage process. Solid mahogany back and sides, scalloped bracing and a walnut-reinforced neck complete the design.
Controls for amplified playing
The Fishman Flex Blend system provides volume, tone, phase and blend controls, plus a tuner. This is a useful choice for a player who wants to move between unamplified practice and a connected performance setup without fitting an aftermarket pickup.

Care between sessions
Wipe the strings and contact points after playing, and protect the instrument from extreme heat and humidity. When changing string gauge, have the setup checked: the change in tension can affect neck relief and action. Cort explains basic maintenance in its acoustic guitar manual.
