Korg G1B-AIR-BK– Digital Home Piano | Black

The Korg G1B-AIR-BK brings the G1 Air family’s expressive RH3 action and powerful sound system into a classic black home-piano cabinet. It is intended for players who want a full-width 88-key keyboard, traditional pedals and detailed piano sound in an instrument that remains set up every day. The black finish gives it a restrained appearance in a study, living room or dedicated teaching space.

RH3 weighted keys for expressive playing

Korg’s Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 (RH3) keyboard provides heavier resistance in the bass and a gradually lighter touch in the treble, closely following familiar acoustic piano proportions. Five selectable touch sensitivities make it possible to adjust how the sound responds to each player’s dynamics. Its full 88-key range supports standard piano repertoire, while the action is designed to handle repeated notes and detailed musical phrasing.

Concert grand tones and supporting instruments

The G1 Air features three characterful concert-grand piano sounds alongside electric pianos, organs and other useful voices, with 32 sounds in total including the bass voices. Stereo PCM sound generation, reverb and chorus let musicians choose between a direct, intimate piano sound and a more spacious character. This variety is useful for lessons and contemporary music, while the core design remains focused on acoustic-style piano performance.

Four-speaker amplification and Bluetooth audio

A four-speaker system with approximately 80 watts of total amplifier power helps produce a convincing sense of depth and projection in a room. Compared with a small portable piano, this can make the G1 Air more enjoyable for shared listening. Bluetooth audio reception allows compatible music to play through the piano, while headphones can be used when quieter practice is necessary. Line-out, MIDI and USB connections are provided for more elaborate music setups.

Three pedals and practical home features

Damper, soft and sostenuto pedals provide the traditional control required by much of the piano repertoire, with half-pedalling support on the applicable functions. A built-in two-track recorder makes it possible to listen back and review timing and articulation, and a metronome supports structured practice. The fitted stand and sliding key cover give the G1 Air the look and stability of a dedicated home piano.

The Black finish and fitting it into your home

The Black finish keeps attention on the keyboard and gives the instrument a traditional look. The G1 Air cabinet measures approximately 134.6 cm wide and 38.4 cm deep and weighs around 42 kg with its stand, so room placement and delivery access matter. Compare the G1 Air with the smaller LP-380 if cabinet depth is a concern, or with a concert-artist model if you specifically want wooden keys.
